For still hanging on to my Smuggler? For being one for 6 months with not one single fix? For still loving it, even tho we have been "nerfed" to Hell and back? For still beliveing SOE to fix my beloved occupation? 16 months after they publically announced "The Smuggler need the most love atm!" For paying my hard earned $ for playing an occupation the sometimes feel like a kick in the groin? I guess I am............................

if this is stupid, then I don't wanna be smart. I could never imagine being something other than a smuggler.

I have mastered one of the freelance squads (CorSec).. For this I used the Dunelizard all the way to master, because I was always told it was the best ship there is till master. The Dunelizard was nice, but I was never really satisfied with it. I am now working on the Smuggler squad. currently 2/3/3/3 and I've been using the Kihraxz. Am I stupid? I know I loose out on one gun and a pretty good chunk of mass.. but I really never used the 85k mass my Dunelizard gave me. The gun placement is something you have to get to used to, but I'm falling in love with this ship. It handles like a dream.. and can keep up with the most agile of the ships out there in space (in my experiences). Is the choice I'm making to use the Kihraxz over the Dunelizard a stupid one? Any advice is welcomed, thanks in advance!

I dropped the dunelizard when I got to the third tier as a privateer pilot and picked up what you're flying now. But once I got into that fourth tier, it was time for the Rikh (shortened name), and I've never looked back. You can't beat three guns and 190k mass.

There really are no wrong answers when it comes to ship selection (expect of course the starter ships). If you are enjoying the light fighters, you really should try Imperial at some point, thats really all Imperials get, and they are some really sweet light fighters. Another thing I'd like to point out (seeing how you like the kihraxz), is that there is a Heavy scyk, 95k mass, and handles even better than the kihr, I would highly recommend you getting one of those. I personnaly did neutral path up to 4333 in a dune, then got a Greivous. I have not even tried any of the other ships, I am just not a fan of heavy fighters.

It really depends on your flying style, and what you're going up against.
I like the Lizzy because it's a great little dogfighter, I can get on almost anything's tail, and sit there and plink away.

Thanks for the advice ya'll... I did some research on Imperial ships, and Imperial pilot.. and I think I'm going to start fresh on a new server and try it out (I could use a fresh start). I have always been anti-imp (Sorry guys!), but I guess it's time for a change... I just wish the search function was working, as I could use a bit more information on the ships.. IE: Which are best for which situation (I know this depends on flight style, but opinions are always nice!).. Thanks again for the advice... make way for the newest imperial doggie (Bothan > All) =P
