Okay, so Im an Ace Freelance Pilot now... I read if I surrender this normally and take up say, Rebel, I get 2x XP. Then if I get Rebel Ace and Surrender and go back to Freelance I get 3x XP.

Does that mean with Double XP week I'd be getting 4x XP first go around and then 6x XP the other go around?

You only ever get double XP. I heard about triple xp too but I done Rebel pilot three times now and I only get double.

But yes due to double XP privelages, if you got the double XP master pilot bonus, you'll get 4 times xp.

Sorry leaph, but totally incorrect.

Double xp week applies to the base amount of xps earned and the base amount only, not any Mastery awards you've earned.

Mastery bonuses are for each profession you master, not each squad, so doing Alliance Pilot x3 only nets you one bonus.

During a double xps weeka a single time master (like Corsec) would get x3 xp after they dropped and began the second profession. If they mastered another pilot profession (likeAlliance) then dropped it to start a 3rd squad, they would get x4 xp during a double xp week, and x3 normally.

So essentially I would get my Master Bonus on going Rebel, and when I go back to Smuggler's I will only get the bonus I had for Rebel to begin with? All because I mastered Smugglers already. Now if I were to go Imperial THEN I'd get the bonus.

master freelance x1 bonus

master alliance x1 bonus

double XP week x1 bonus

normal XP + the three bonuses = x4

no, drop freelance, you get 1 master bonus. Master Alliance, get the second. Master Imperial and get the third. While some people master 1 squad in each before grinding all the others, it's really not necessary. The speed you get xps whether x3 or x4 is pretty much a wash.
