I have heard from everyone and their brother that you should only use Droid Commands up to Tier 3, as the Tier 4 commands all either wear your components down, or provide such a energy drain as to not be worth using.

However, I have also heard from some folks that Tier 4 commands are useful once you hit Master Pilot, but not before. Why is this? Do the commands suddenly not wear down your components once you have your master box? I can't imagine Tier 4 Droid commands going completely unused, but that seems to be the case.

Any help would be appreciated.
