1. How come when I help a friend with mission and we're grouped I don't get mission waypoints?
2. If I fly the Krayt and my buddy rides turret can we do his mission and can I get WP then?

1. Because it isn't your mission, probably. Just follow your friend. Or email waypoints, if you need to split up.
2. No. Although I highly recomend not doing missions where the mission holder is in a turret. You cannot dock with mission ships from that position, and it is generally more hassle than just having them fly themselves.
