I'm with Washell. Thou shalt not combine elite and mediocre parts in the same job.
Two of the 155 L10 guns in the spaceLoot component database are in the acceptable range. That's not enough datapoints, but for the sake of argument, let's pretend it is and that you might need to loot 80 or so L10 guns in order to get the mass you want. Assuming you pull one L10 gun per 45 minute Kessel loot run, it's not unreasonable to expect it to take 60 runs to get your final part. At one run a day, taking the occasional day off, you could round out your job in say, eight weeks. Further assuming that you up your changes of getting the gun faster by trading with friends, hitting the bazaar, and sacrificing small furry animals to sith lords, you could probably do it within a month.
Anyway, it's rare to get the chance to build a truly cream-of-the-crop elite part like that. Don't screw it up.
I farm DS and BS pretty much every day, I have 3 backpacks FULL of level 10 weapons, and this was my best mass out of the batch.
Guess I'm due for a lighter one. No prob holding off, as I'd like to improve the min and e/s as well.
Virtually every stat COULD be better, but at some point you have to say, "This will fit, and do enough damage to make me happy"
Once I get the mass down, I'll RE it. Then I'll gather parts to make another one ![]()
