Now that I have a nice RE'd level 5 engine, the ship handles much much better.
At first, I was outraged at yourBLASPHEMY against what is arguably the best all-round ship in the game (and my personal favorite). But now that you have come to your senses and seen the light, all is forgiven...
Actually, with the right equipment, you will find that the DL will take you to master and beyond. If I had to do it over again (and I likely will at some point) I would have used mine all the way to master. Butmake sure toget yourself a nice Re'd level 6 engine at some point. Then you will truly fall in love with it.
Good luck.

I could see how. i am really beginning to like this ship. When I first flew imperial, we didnt have the heavy tie, and it was a pain to try to manage getting enough firepower into a tie interceptor. At 1211 freelance pilot, with this ship, it is child's play, even taking spawns of tier 3's was easy.
