Today I was crazy enough to load up a TIE bomber and fly to deep space 
. I started out thinking I was going to die anyways, so I flew into a cloud of a-wings. And guess what? I lived! I sucessfully dogfought tier 5 awings in a bomber. It was actually pretty fun too. I realized the real trick is not to EVER pull all the way to one side with the stick, just take the turns slow. I have now decided to fly my TIE bomber instead of my oppressor, just forthe challange.

Ok, been getting really, really sick of being a weak ignored nerfed smuggler, and have been getting really tempted to grind up armorsmith / smuggler + unlock the second char slot with the rest of the points. Then I could have my smuggler + make a real combat char. I feel dirty for even thinking about this, but man, what else is there for smugglers to do these days? Getting sick of playing slicemonkey, and selling spices only gets you so much. I was doing fine as MBH / smuggler until this last craptastic patch came out,but I'm really starting to feel my weakness in PvE compared to other templates.
If only we had smuggling missions....

I hear you on that one. I kept my main toon a smuggler, but I have a second toon I bought to make a more effective pvp and pve template on. It's all in how you look at it. I may have another toon that I full-on make FOTM to smash jedi heads in with, but I always consider my smuggler as my main toon.
