Good luck. I tried that for my first 7/8 months of play while I was on Bria.

I hear things are pickingup again though now. (I think the CU caused somewhat of a revolt on that server) but yeh good luck. I remember some good pilots from that server.

Yeah, it never really worked on bria when Leaph set it up. I think it might be more useful to have the pilot helper lsit properly updated thouhg, as the current list frustrates new pilots. Although new pilots are added, it is rare that a pilot is removed as a result of changing servers or quiting. So new pilots send tells to people that aren't around anymore when they need help.

We have a pilot channel on Lowca that's working out really well. Typically 20+ people signed in every day (though not that many actually talking of course.)

Marketing is the key, of course, and sending out easy instructions to join the channel. The custom channels aren't very easy to figure out for most people, similar to the problem with the bazaar's global search feature. Anyway, for example, we ask people to just run this command to join our PL channel:

/chatr join SWG.Lowca.Chat.PL

Easy. :-) I would suggest selling some space stuff in your galaxy trade forum and offer a discount if they contact you in the chat channel.
