I was mining in space last night and things were constantly disapearing and reappearing on me. This included even the background graphics like the Nebula. Anyone else getting this annoying graphics bug?
And on another note. I still can't mine with my Y-8. Using Elite mining laser from the pilots seat and it's not taking off any chunks from the asteroid.

I had it for a couple of days, but it seems like they've fixed it now (at least on FarStar)...

This is probably a graphics card issue. I notice "graphics" bugs alot with my son's computer, which has an ATI 9600xt. My main computer with an x800xt does not have the same results. Try upgrading your graphics drivers, I know ATI just released an update only a few days ago.

goto www.nvidia.comor www.ati.com , and check for driver updates for your particular card. Often times, graphics performance in a game is directly related to the drivers for the card, or an issue with the card itself.
if you don't have one of the above cards, do some research, and get one, it will make your gaming experience alot better in the long run.

It's happening on land now too, guys, and seems to relate to server load. On land, if you zone, you'll "appear" on one side of the zone and can go back and forth turning invisible and visible across a straight barrier.
