Ok so I am an Alliance Ace Pilot, I have a nova decked out with elite parts and a heavy xwing fully loaded and badd to the bulkhead. Now what?
I also have the Y-8 and as far as I am concerned its a worthless machine and all I can think of to do with it is use it for storage. I have had several people up in it and unless I can find someone to walk me through how to effectivly mine with the beast I just cant see it ever being useful.
Are there missions out there that are worth doing? Stuff that may even have a challenge to them and some decent loots maybe?
I cant do the new mission on mustafar since I cannot afford to buy the expansion so what else is there out there to do.
I have even gone and soloed the star destroyer in deep space about a dozen times since I hit master a couple days ago, getting boring.
So other then using my awesome Advanced X-Wing to mine asteroids what is there to do as a master pilot?
Thanks!

Two things.
1) PvP. Get into some of the scheduled events on your server, or start organizing your own.
2) Help lower level Pilots advance. True Mastery comes not from the skill box, but from teaching and helping others.

1) Pair up with a Shipwright and pile up space loot fro some high quality RE'd items.
2) Do it again now with Double XP. I can't tell you how much fun this is. If you get a set of high quality items at all of the even levels, you'll be master again in about a week. Plus you get to do another set of cool misisons. If your Reb I recommend the Vortex Squadron.

Agree.
Since becoming Master Pilot I have sort of become the unofficial pilot expert for my guild it seems. And I have to say that this alone has made the trip to master pilot worth while as I can pass along a lot of the information I get from the boards here to my guildies, as well as the 'tricks' I learned from other pilots in-game. And I have to say that I can envision a guild space outing in the future for us, as so many of my guildies are really starting to enjoy space now.
One thing that I found really spurred them on was taking them for a 'space tour' in a MP ship, I use my Alts Krayt for effect as it is pretty fast and you can't beat 4 guns in total for the "WOW!" effect. Take them to Kessel and Deep Space, and have them kill a tier5 from the turret, I only keep the ship in firing range. Work them through Endor and tier4 ships, to Lok for some tier3s and to Tatooine for some tier1s and tier2s and soon I have them telling me "These low tier guys are cake...ok, I gotta grab my ship and try this out again".
And as they progress they usually ask me how to increase the performance of their ship, or which skill box they should train next, etc. And once they get the hang of it and progress, they usually just now tell me how they just waxed a swarm of tier3 or tier4 guys and how they hate escort missions, or found some nice loot from a certain spawn. Looking forward to hearing from them again when they solo the Vette, as I use the hulk in Yavin4 to show them how to solo one of them and where the guns and such are located.
I've even gone so far as to buy the lower tier pilots good DIs and Droids/Computers and help them program them and fly cover for them until they got comfortable with their new knowledge. And its also nice to see a lot of them developing their own pilot 'edge' and starting to follow me in 'mock' dogfights, train their blasters on me and talk a little 'good natured' smack and start storing their good loots for RE jobs and such, getting that 'pilot edginess'. I smell a guild PvP even coming in the future. I'm evenplanning toswitch my main pilots faction just to go against them and be totally outnumbered, as most of my guild's pilots are Rebel. And, our guild SW has been getting a lot more business now as well.
Its not a role I chose after Mastering pilot, but I have to say it has been the one that has been the most rewarding and just plain fun for me thanks to my guildmates. And just recently our city placed its first official pilot lounge. Not my doing, but shows a lot of interest in the profession and anything that gets more able and knowledgable pilots into space I'm all for!
Just thought I'd share my own after-Ace rewarding experiences.
