Hello again, everyone! Long time no see, and for those might remember me I am sorry I disappeared. Hurricanes have a way of messing with the best laid plans....

Anyway, I have been getting caught up as quickly as possible, and I have been considering the possibilities around expanding upon the space-based content for factions in some meaningful manner, in the concepts of depth and scope of play. I came up with an idea, and I thought I would run this one by everyone.

I would like to see it possible to be given factional commands as a part of space-based questing, which would revolve around command of a light fighter escort, small squadron or even battle group. The idea here being to expand into more than simply dogfighting or strafing, and moving into an aspect of spatial tactical engagements. Perhaps even moving up into capital ships when they do become available.

Capital ship assignments could even go so far as to command flight squadrons and fighter escorts in a tactical engagement.

What would interest in this idea be, and what would everyone like to see included?
