I was just reading about how Kessel is full of loot-heavy ships from the faction that is losing in the Deep Space zone. If I master Alliance pilot with there be any ships for me to loot in Kessel or are there always Rebel ships in the zone to loot because the Imperials are winning in Deep Space?

Also, is there a better spot to loot than Kessel like a certain space station's missions etc.?

Yeah I think they tossed this idea out since it encouraged factions to intentionally loose in Deep space so that they could make a killing in Kessel.
