I am on the mission where you capture the crystal smugglers in Dath System, Then escort it to safety. Second you go to the disabled shuttle, and bring it to safety. Then the Ambush. This is where I am stuck. I am doing better then 1k trying to put some room and hit and run, but they more then keep up with me. How mnay ships does it take to complete it (how many people should I bring)? Should I hyper out into another part of the system and make repairs and make my way back? Will they hyper in behind me? Does anyone know how to complete this Solo if wingman aren't available. 8 on one i manageable, but 20 to one is impossible. Also when does this mission end? Is this the last stage?

Well, I'm a freelancer myself (4444 RSF), but I've been helping a friend with his inquisition missions, they take incredibly long in some cases. No idea where abouts you are in the mission, either.
Take a friend (only needs one, really) and get cap to shield 3 (or 4, even) from a freelancer to use in your flight computer. Makes surviving things like that much much easier

Trying to remember that mission... but yes I believe you can jump to a different point in system to evade them completely. Also, if you bring friends 2 to 3 should be more than enough. Don't be afraid to use bstrike as well on the ambush party (if it's recharged by that time). They can make a great distraction and take enough heat off of you to finish the job.

I did this mission 4 times since friday night.
The first time i got cuaght in an endless spawn loop, which is what yours sounds like. I had to quit and get the mission again to get it to work right.
The next 3 times i failed in the last leg to the YT, and her escorts.
Once you get the mission spawning properly, make sure you got about 3 friends with you becuase it does get hairy.
So far this mission is the most difficult and long of all the inquistion mission you did or will do.

Well thanks for the information my friends. if any of you are bored look for me in game as Casho, I love space although on dial up. My piloting skills are more then adequate and I fly a bomber like no other, always gald to lend a hand.
