Thread: Black Sun Ace Helmets

Ok I just did a search and did not find anything on this. I hear there are black sun helmets for privateers. When you become ace you get a silver jacket and helm not a black sun helm. How do you get these? Are they looted?

They go in with the next mini publish and are lootable only off black sun NPC ships.

Should have expected that with the armor hehe. Damm I thought it was going to be obained through a quest

They are supposedly wearable by everyone at any level.

The only reson they look nice is because I can see the bounty hunter helmet in them a little bit

ok so it's confirmed that the Blacksun Pilots helmet is looted off of Blacksun ships........this is just me being slow

so where you here its only looted off black sun ships? far as I know, so far it was only found off a black sun by 1 person that doesn't mean its only looted off them. unless i missed something?

one of the devs said it was owned by black sun pilots and they might take some pursuading to part with them, they recomended shooting them till they explode.

Profession: Pilots



  • Fixed Rebel Ace Pilot Helmet so that it can be worn by all species except Ithorian and Wookiee.
  • Fixed Privateer Ace Helmet so that it can now be worn by all species except Ithorians and Wookiees.
  • Added Black Sun Ace Fighter Helmet to the game. It can be worn by all species except Ithorians and Wookiees. Black Sun Ace Pilots may take some 'convincing' before they relinquish their helmets, so to speak. We recommend shooting them until they explode
  • Changed how missiles deal with obstacles. Formerly, missiles would almost always seek around obstacles such as asteroids. Now, there is a much greater chance that they will collide with the obstacle
  • When flying JtL and after using a pilot command, a system message will now tell you when you are ready to execute another pilot command
  • The ship engine 'run' sound now has variable pitch based on your throttle position
  • Updated the sound effects for the engines of the tie oppressor & the tie interceptor
  • Turning on the booster now disengages the autopilot.
  • Fixed problems with various species wearing the Ace flight jackets

DONT EXPECT YOU TO GET THE HELMET BECUASE THEY ARE SOOO RARE. killed 10k black suns and aces not 1 helmet on tc.
