I found a way to get a jump (literally) on the DI timer. If you execute a command, then jump through hyperspace, you can execute a command again as soon as you appear in the new sector. I found this by accident when I hypered, hit the next program button to see how much time left before I could run it, and it ran. I've bugged it ingame, but I didnt see it on our Issues or Bug thread in the stickies so I thought I'd post.

i don't know if that's necessarily a bug... perhaps it was intentional to signify time passing while in hyperspace...

like when ben was instructing luke with the lightsaber after leaving mos eisley with han solo....

I'm not sure exactly what happens to your DI timer when you jump, but I don't think it is a straight 'reset.' There has been at least one time where I ran a command with a long timer shortly before jumping to find that it the DI was not yet ready when I got out of hyperspace. *shrug*
