Hey all, nub pilot here needs your assistance.

I'm 1-2-1-1, and having troubles training up....lol

2 Problems I'm having:

I have 120k exp banked, and need only 60k to train next skill, however the tier 2 trainer I go to in Nym's throne room won't give me an option to train - she only gives me another mission.

I thought that all Tier 2 boxes were experienced based not mission based ????

I'm not sure how many missions I have completed with her, maybe just a couple not sure, but I have already trained up 1 box with her (hence the 1-2-1-1) and I know she is the right trainer I'm supposed to be working for.

But she keeps giving me this mission to go disable and inspect an imperial ship and bring back some information. However, every time I run the mission and go to the waypoint, the Imperial "Lambda" shuttle (I think it's called) is not there. So I fly back down to Lok, abort the mission, and re-accept it. I've done this like 10 times, and the shuttle I need to inspect is never there. I've even sat at the waypoint for 20 minutes and it never shows up.

Any adivice on why I can't train up and why I can't seem to complete this mission?

It's a constant spawn mission. Just go to the waypoint and use T to scan for the shuttle. If it's not there hen someone vaped it and you have to wait for two minutes at most for another. You can't train until you finish the mission. That's how every pilot skill works once you pass Tier 1.

Every tier has a mission associated with each box, it just varies when you have to do them. No tier is experience only.

Tier1- 4missions done before you train in any box, first box given free.

Tier2- 1mission per box plus xp

Tier3- 1mission per box, no xp needed

Tier4- 1mission per box plus xp

Ran the mission several times tonight and the "Lambda" ship never spawed

I had the exact same problem (with an alternate character of course, my main is Imperial) with the inspect the Lambda shuttlemission. It doesn't spawn, so no clue how to get past it either. Oh and to get trained, you need to do that mission first. Tier 2 is xp based, but you still need to do a mission to train.

Read what your questJournal says carefully for this mission. Sometimes the mission trasmissions, or the text from the trainer can be confusing or misleading. The Journal descriptions are pretty clear about exactly what your targets and goals are.
