Sorry am a complete noob imp pilot, real bad but trying 
(am female gimme a break 
)just started the 2222 line so am 1111, went to Emporers Retreat and got a mission to inspect something, so now up in space inspect this Mercenary ship it tells me to use the /dock command but the other ship wont let me dock :/ I tried killing it that doesnt work, HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!

not sure of the mission, but try communitcating with it.
/comm
or if that fails, try taking out engine, if not , try taking out guns on it, using square brackets to target subcomponents...
somethign like that should do it..

K, tried /comm that didnt do anything and dont know how to take out specific bits :/ the worse noob you can imagine at this seriously

Did you get it? [ and ] targets certain systems on a ship. For the mission you're on, you do have to take out the engines to dock with it.
