I was helping a friend do this mission and made the nasty discovery that after capturing the corvette and starting the escort, the corvette itself aggroes us and of course between it and the gunboat we both died, twice. I am correct that it should not be shooting us after we capture it aren't I? This has made this mission impossible for us to complete. If someone has a work-around for this I would be greatful.

This aint the only bug. You cant even GET to the corvette if you make the mistake of telling the Kit Fisto looking dude that the Gotals are weak. You end up doing endless escort missions, or you end up like me and unable to complete the escort mission you are on, because the attackers blow the freighter NO matter how much help you bring or how clear you keep the transport of attackers.
There is a long long list of Post CU bugs, and its more annoying than when the game first started, because, after two years, we have all come to expect more, for some reason.
