Alright, spent5 or so hours acquiring my Y-8, and headed to Theed to equip it with components. Wheee, all finished. Clicked 'Launch" and received ... "You have too many ships with interiors."

Ummm.... I have a YT and my yacht. The yacht is a non-combatant perk. It should not count, period.

And for those who argue about it having extra storage.... buy the expansion or JTLand you'll have it too after a year's play.

Nowhere did I ever read the words from SOE that "You're limited to two ships with interiors."

SoI wasted a day obtaining a ship that I couldn't use.

SOE, don't count the bloody perk yacht, or fix the online documentation and holocron, and explicitely statethe dogma you've implemented on the 'two ships with interiors' limit.

Quite frankly, I'm disgusted. You give3 extra ship slots, and neglect stating your newly imposed limitations on ships.

I just filled a ticket in game for this issue as well. For the same reason, we were given the yacht as a reward for playing SWG, it took up a house lot, then it didn't, it was limited to certain amounts of items, then it went up, it was indestructable then a bug made em blow up, then it's fixed again. NEVER was there a mention that it counts against how many multi pass ships you have, even without the yacht there's never been a mention about it. You did the smart thing and went to Theed, I on the other hand deeded mine at the Kash term, tossed in the parts from my mining ship and expected to take off, I got the message about interiors as well and I'm not effectively stuck on Kash. I can not re-deed the V-8 at all to take it to another planet and as the message now goes, I have to unequip all of my items and gear from either my Decimator or my Yacht just to fly the mining ship. This seriously needs to be fixed, if it keeps up the whole mining thing will be too tedious to be worth it when you're flying a little starfighter around.

Yes, you can have two ships with items inside.

What the interface tells you is that you can't have more than TWO ships with INTERIORS.

SOE has NEVER mentioned this, it is documented NOWHERE, except 'after the fact' in-game blurgs, and only inflames my opinion of their 'implementation' as of late.

Which is exactly they problem, they never told us that, EVER. I could use my Y-8 no problem if I took everything out of one of my other POB ships, however I've had them for a long time and they're fully decorated, I've got repair kits in the decimator, seating, warship themed items decorating it, made a med center in it, etc... so if I empty it out, I then lose it's effectiveness, even just the repair kits help with plasma leaks.

The yacht I decorated over a long period of time, it has more stuff than I can carry, it's my PA's flagship, set up for meetings of the council, it's got every crafting station, stocked bar, dance floor, hot tub and a freaky-flying-fountain. There's no way I can empty it out that easy, I'd have to drop a large house or another PA (which takes up my harv lots) to transfer the stuff over, then I could use the Y-8. Making people choose between a master cert POB ship and a mining ship is bad, especially since they want to increase the use of the Deci/YT/Nova as stated in the dev posts. Making somebody choose between a mining ship and a reward for playing (yacht) is just beyond wrong.

They aren't going to give us unlimited free storage and allowing 2 POB's with out taking up Lot usage anymore was pretty nice of them.

I don't see how it was nice of them when one of the ships is a vet reward AND it takes up a ship space now which screws the pooch on using the mining ship. Did they expect people NOT to use the reward ship and the master cert POB ships, I can understand not giving us tons of space to store items in but come on, they give us 3 POB ships and then we can only use 2 of the 3 the way they should be used, and they don't even tell us about the rules. Find documentation from SOE or a Dev that says there can only be 2 POB ships with stuff inside, if you do I will stop complaining, if not, they need to fix this and give us the ability to use 3 POB ships, even limit me to like 25 items in the mining ship so I can just drop some repair kits. Considering all these new ships are quest based, undeedable, interior bugged and you have to get them through combat on the ground, it's not a good start. I'm a MSW, Master Merch, gonna go MDE as well, I'm 1 CL. I can't get those ships when I should be able to build em myself being MSW. At least let us USE the ones we can get.

I would be totally happy with 2 Multi Pass ships, however if I'd known that before I wouldn't have worked so hard on my Yacht, I have millions of creds put into my yachts interior because nobody ever said it would count against stuff like this. My Decimator doesn't have much but I have to keep repair kits handy inside so I can't fully empty it out, plus the furniture, so I'm stuck, I can't use the mining ship, I can't get rid of the stuff in my other ships, it would take too long, too much space and it's all expensive. What we need is another spot for a 3rd interior ship, after all they're giving us 3 more ship slots, why not make us able to use the multi pass, the yacht and the new mining ship.
