Is this quest soloable and how long does it take, since i always get killed after 7 or 8 npc kills

I've got to 4 3 3 3 today and solo'd all thus far. If i'm to believe the npc though from now on I'm either gonna have a lot more deaths, so I'll put off a visit to the cantina with my 1000 bf for a while longer and see if I can call in a favour or two

Also, you might want to try getting the best engine and weapon that you can, at least that was my strategy. You'll be going up against alot of fighters, some of them a-wings. For me, that means I need to be manueverable, and the more firepower you pack the less time you spend messing around dog-fighting (which is a big deal when you're supposed to be guarding a frieghter).
