Thread: Multipassenger ships and Non-JtL owners

My friend doesn't have JtL but I thought we could still launch into space in multipassenger ships. I can't seem to figure this out at all and didn't see a FAQ on this. Anyone?

you cant
you can however travel from planet to planet with them (instantly, not by going in space)

In a multipassager ship you can look out of the windows and all and see everything around you in space.
So obviously you need the JtL space engine, which people without JtL don't have.
But yes, travel works, jsut invite them to the group and then to the spacejourney first

It's a small enough expansion... They should be able to download it.
I wish they had the JTL expansion to download and purchase online like how EQ does it.

They have already downloaded it. it was patched in a few days ahead of when it went live. What they need is a key code from a CD case. I didn't instal JtL I just entered thekey code and off I went. This was the day it went live. (if everybody remembers a few days before it went livewe had 2 big publishes.) THAT was JtL. Get the key code get JtL unlocked....
Although I do wish we could take nonJtL people in multi-player crafts, after they see it first hand they would rush out and buy it.....IMO.
