Thread: Help with Smugglers Alliance Tier 3 mission 2?

I think it is mission 2. The one where you have to dock with three shuttles and then escort a ship. I am having problems doing this solo. I can take on the hostiles until it gets to about 7 or more on one. By the time I get to the third shuttle I have over 7 spawns on me and that is with taking out the other hostiles before the next shuttle waypoint. The problem is that if I take on the spawns before I dock another set arrives before I finish. By the time I am done with the docking with the third shuttle my ship is toast.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated,

I recall doing that mission with someone tagging along to help. If that isn't an option you can try hyperspacing to a safe spot in the same space zone and see if that stops the spawns. Make sure you pull the enemy ships away from the shuttle so you can reach it without aggroing.

I'm thinking I am going to have to get someone to help me. By the time I get all three shuttles docked I have a lot of spawns and hyperspacing away may not be an option unless I can start the hyperspace sequence while I am docked? I might give that a try.

A straight outrun is also an option, and you can turn and strafe the bunch every now and then, shooting to disable. This takes a good engine and reactor programs, of course...
