When I reach 4/3/3/3 imperial pilot i dont know what ship to use. should I use a TIE Advanced(Looks Awsome ) or use a TIE Aggresor(Which would be really cool because I can take my freinds in it). I hear people like to aggresor because of better sheilds and the advanced has low mass, but Ive always wanted to fly a advanced ever scince I was a kid

Please help

Well, i liked the advanced better for two reasons:

no.1: it's faster and more manouverable

no.2: You got two SP guns

Go with the Agressor becuase:

1) Much more mass - therefore more (fire)power

2) Rear turret is very helpful if you have a friend to go in it - will keep fighters off your back

3) After you get to master, sell of the Agressor and buy the Advanced if you want.

The Agressor is going to be a lot slower. If you have a friend to play gunner, it's more powerful. The TIE advanced gives you a lot more firepower than an Interceptor, because you have two guns you can load. Basically I took everything that was in my Interceptor, added a 13k mass Level 7 Blaster, and put that all in my Advanced.

It's a nice ship. The "sweet spot" for turning is about 80% throttle. I don't know if I'll ever go back to it after using my Oppressor...but it's nice.

Now I know why people complain about low mass.....

Well I bought an advanced and it has 65k mass. I bought all level 7 components. I know I cant use them all so the ones I think I will need to use is the lv 7 83.4 speed engine, the lv 7 blasters, and maybe the shields?

Well the real question is what are the main componets I need to put into a advanced in order for it to work nice?

you at least need a lvl 7 gun and a lvl 7 shield. I had a lvl 2 engine, capacitator and a lvl 2 or 3 reactor. I think the booster was lvl 4. Had no CMs, missiles in it.
