but doesnt surprise me because when it comes to looting rare stuff im usually pretty unlucky

Absolutly positive. I looted one on Sunday from a tier 4 blacksun spawned for a duty mission from the guy at Nym's Hotel on Lok. I estimate it took about 1100 ships to actually get one to drop.

maybe it was because it was a duty mission, im camping the static spawn at endor.
also sucks that they lowered the loot rate for space

I've done nothing but BS duty missions all the way up to Master Pilot and beyond. I now have over 5,000,000 prestige points and not a single helmet...

I'm also looking. I've done the BS duty mission from Lok hotel guy about 2-3 times all the way through to completion. Didn't even think duty missions were able to be completed. Thought they were open-ended and went on forever but I guess I was wrong. I can't complain too much because I'm making a ton of money doing it in the process. I sure would like to loot a helmet though. I've had people offer them to me if they get one since they already looted one, but I don't really want one just for the helmet, but for the satisfaction of looting it on my own. I have not given up hope though. If people say they have looted them off the BS duty mission then I guess I'll just have to keep at it.

Why is everyone so obsessed with this helmet? People complain about the Privateer helmet making you look like you have no neck, well this one makes you look like you have a square head.

When you say Privateers can take BS missions, do you mean all Privateers (ie. RSF, CorSec, and Smuggler's Alliance)?

Yeah all privateers can get black sun duty missions from the Tier 4 RSF trainer in the Theed Palace (for the tier 4 and 5 ships).

Ah cool. I thought that if you are SA, you can only take missionsfrom the SA trainer. I'll go try it out tonight! Thanks for the info.

I think any tier 4 trainer can give duty missions to somebody of another squad, same faction ofcourse, I have gotten them from a different trainer, I am rebel by the way.

No Imps cannot do BS duty missions, only Rebels and Privateers can...
And Electra, better that than the Kettle-Head Imperial helmets... won't wear mine if you pay me 1mill per hour to wear it.

mob spawns seem to have been lowered too. Just sit there severalminutes at a time scanning for a target...
