Got fed up always hyperspacing to the wrong place, so thought I'd note the nearest hyperspace location to each station, so you'll always know where to jump to if you're going somewhere 
updated: added repair details and a small note on Dathomir
Corellia System
Corellia Space Station - Corellia's Own [3](3900m)
Talus Space Station - Talus Secta [4](5000m)
Alliance Station I* - Talus Secta [4](3200m)
Alliance Station II* - CorSec Wing [0] (2000m)
Tatoo System
Tatooine Space Station - Desert Sands [2] (8400m)
Naboo System
Naboo Space Station - Royal Way [0] (4000m)
Rori Space Station - Sea of Veruna [2] (4700m)
Empire Station I* - Sea of Veruna [2] (3900m)
Dantooine System
Dantooine Space Station*** - Dantooine's Wrath [0] (6600m)
Alliance Station I* - Dantooine's Wrath [0] (10100m)

seems to be an issue hyperspacing to Dathomir system; I think Emperor's Hand and Dathomir's Vitality are swapped around (i.e. select EH and you will arrive at DV) ensure you all choose the same one if travelling in a group

* denotes a station where you can declare overt
** denotes a station which will transfer you to Deep Space or Kessel
*** denotes a station which will only repair to 75% (Dantooine - can run a separate mission to enable 100% repairs?)
[0], [1]etc represents the hyperspace point for use with the hyperspace command
e.g. Crimson Flare [2]is /hyperspace space_yavin_2

I look forward to the POI and Nebula guide, now. Is there anything to *do* at POIs other than look at the interesting objects found there?

space_corellia_0 for Corellia
space_corellia_4 for Talus
space_tatooine_2 for Tatooine (pls confirm Desert Sands is 3rd in list of 4)
I'm unsure of the rest off the top of my head, but other than Corellia which has 5 quadrants (one *borrowed* from Yavin) and Yavin which is short one, the lists in the H window are numbered zero to three from top to bottom.
BTW the station to go to Kessel / DS for Imperials is 13km from the nearest hyperdrop at Endor. The station isa POI, can't remember the name for it off the top of my head.

Great post! An additional question on hyperspace jumping; If I hyperspace to a point within the sector where I am, will an unfinished mission remain active. I have had it happen both ways. I use hyperspace jumps to get out of trouble and ger repairs, problem is that on some jumps, I get a mission failure when I come out of hyperspace. Is this a bug, or working as planned??

If you remain in the same quadrant you should not get a mission failed, UNLESS it's an escort mission, in which case you need to remain within a maximum distance of the mission objective; hypering to a point further than that distance will fail your mission, yes.

If you hyper to Endor: Durillium Sea you are only roughly 4-5k from the station
