Thread: Imperial Inquisition pilot needs advice on tier2 mission 3, please help

hi,
In the mission I candestroy Z-95 escortswith easebut when it comes to
disabling the Lamba shuttle I get murdered by the rear cannon. I'm 1,2,1,1 any
advice onwhat angle to attackthe shuttle and not risk taking heavy damage, or any
other advice on this missionwould really be appreciated.

The easiest way to complete this mission solo, is to take out the z95's first. When they are all gone, track down the shuttle. When you get within 1000m of the shuttle, start going to try to set yourself under and in front of it at about a 45% angle from the center of the shuttle. Stay there and shoot a steady stream of fire at it, as it passes, just use your ship like a turret to shoot the thing. When you do this for about 2-4 passes, you'll disable the ship and be able to dock with it.

Thanks Ezis I'll give it a try post later if it I can pull it off (haven't got a joystick until Christmas)

I did this solo by attacking it from the sides.. I would booster up slightly ahead of it, turn into it, overload my weapons (preferably with a computer command, not your own skill), and blast it until it started firing at me again. Boost out of range, rinse, and repeat. Once you find the sweet spot where you're not in the range of the lamda's guns, you'll do just fine.

I had to do it by attacking the Lambda from the side... It cannot shoot from the side or bottom.

I followed everyone's advice, the mission was easy once I learnt to keep my distance.Thanks for the advice everyone!

I just hit 4444 solo and am heading into Kessel. Know that you can do EVERY Imp Inq mission solo. You need to observe, think, and learn. They might seem impossible, but you can work them out.
