Maybe I'm missing an obvious post, but i can't seem to find any detailed info on the y-8 mining ship quest except where it starts. My question is do we need to already have a ship capable of mining to do the quest, or can we start from scratch and acquire everything we need to mine (i.e., the lasers, tractors, and whatever else) through the quest? I'm hoping for the latter since I haven't seen jack squat being sold on my server for mining, lol. Thanks for the help, and if anyone knows of a guide for this, please toss me a clicky

they give you the equipment when you need it. So as long as you have a fighter ship, you can do the mission
