Thread: -Freelancer who got Royal Guard TIE

Imperial ground forces combatant... RSF Freelance Ace.... yet Enya or Enye or whatever his name is referred to me as an "Imperial Pilot" which of course I am not. Though I do covet the Aggressor. Ahem...
So the NPC gives me the Imperial mission and sure enough escort 'vette ta-da I receive the Royal Guard TIE, which of course I cannot pilot.
Oddly enough I did not receive the proper badge for the mission, and instead received the "Heavy X-Wing" badge LOL.
Ah, well, the mission was quite fun and the deed is fodder for my vendor. However, does this mean no Vaksai for me?

Talk to Kashyyyk Station again and see if it will give you the mission to get the Vaksai.

What I get from Kayyyk Station is I can ask for "a Challenge" and they tell me to talk to a YT-1000 flying patrol. This I do and the YT sends me up against a rather nasty gunship I haven't been able to scratch even with help.
What's unclear to me is if this is the Vaskai Fighter quest or not.

I am pretty sure the Vaksai mission is to escort a Corvette.
The Imperial mission I understand is the Gunboat.

If so SOMETHING really messed up since I escorted the 'vette and got the red TIE.

The mission that gives the Vaksai is the corvette mission. Dunno, if you can still ask the station if there's "anything else to do" but for some reason that sticks in my head

The YT escort should be the first of the two challenge missions from Kashyyyk station. After you've completed it, the next and final one should be the Vette escort, the successful completion of which will give you the Vaksai.
Good to hear you can still get these missions as a privateer after you've been mistakenly directed to your ground faction's space missions. Makes this bug a lot less severe.

i got the red tie also, cani still get the vaksai? what do i do now, i just got done escorting the corvette and i got the red tie.
