Thread: Storm Squadron 2/2/2/2
Where you have to escort the ship in Endor, then recapture it, then escort it again, then meet another ship, and repair it, then escort it, and then..I have no idea.
I've done this mission more times than I care to mention, and yesterday afternoon I did it again, only this time with a friend who is an Ace Pilot.
Everything was going great, we were escorting the ship that we had to repair, got it to the end, and it got stuck at the edge of space. You know where it tells you your sublight engines are reaching thier limit.
Basically the ship would not enter hyperspace, and just kept spawning waves of Rebel ships on top of us, over, and over. The ship wasn't moving, just sat there.
Did everything we could think of to get the damn thing to move but it wouldn't, I even hyperspaced off into a diffrent area of Endor hoping that would fix it, and it didn't.
Anyone know a fix to this? Going to try this mission one last time this morning when I get home from work, and if I fail it again, I think I am just going to give up on Storm Squadron, the missions are just so damn long its insane. Not to mention I am caped out on exp, and I guess can't train until I finish this mission, so I am getting no exp at all.

SS...the 'angry imp' one...
Sorry, cant help, I cant remember any missions, 'cept the Vette. ![]()
Storm squadron the probably the hardest one to get through from what I have heard.
FWIW I was stuck on 2222 for months before managing the first level 3 with a friend and the second level 3 solo.
What a feeling when you do it though :-)
If you haven't already done so I would suggest you buy a heavy TIE (95k mass) from a shipwright and some re-engineered stuff. That ship will take you through that end 2 mission and probably level 3 as well.
That was all slightly off topic, it does sound like you have a bugged mission there. If it happens again report it. I wish I was on your server I would love to help.
Good luck

I finally got through that mission with the help of a friend. Was ruff, but finally made it. I'm currently 3/3/2/2 now, and on the decoy mission. Failed it twice so far, because you've gota kill four waves of Rebel ships before the decoy ship makes it to Endor. So basically you've gota kill thirty six ships total, last time I tried it I killed 27/36. Almost had it, not to hard, just gota kill the stuff quickly.
I think you only have to kill 16 ships.
What you have to do is completely clear a wave of four ships to get the message 'no more enemy ships'. You must do this before the next wave spawns.
If you get that message 4 times the mission is complete. And you're right, you have to be fairly quick with the killing.
Good luck.
