Thread: Crimson Tie / Heavy Xwing Cert?

Ok. I was under the impression that if you could do the quest you could fly the ship for these ROTW ships. I'm freelance pilot who alternated ground faction to do the JSF, CrimsonTie, Heavy X-wing, Vaksai, and Belubab quests. I am able to fly all of the ships except the Crimson Tie and Heavy X-wing. When I try to deed those two it says I lack the certification to deed these ships. I recall reading somewhere that you needed to obtain 5 additional badges after completing the quests in order to fly the ship. Does that apply to these 2 ships or am I confusing topics here?

You have to be an imperial pilot to fly the crimson TIE and a rebel pilot to fly the adv x-wing. Pretty sure you have to be tier 4 as well.

Hmm....so is it a bug that allows a Feelance to do both the Vaksai and the Tie or Heavy X quests? Seems a little silly to not be able tofly them if you can get the quest to do them. Guess I will hang on to mine on the hopes they may change the certs requirements one day.

no it would be a bug if you could actually deed them

I'm more curious as to how you managed to do both the RG Interceptor and Advanced X-wing quests. Every other pilot here is reporting that you can only do one or the other.

2 Chars ....both Master Freelance....one took Reb route other took Imp = 2 Vaksai, 1 Crimson Tie, 1 Heavy Xwing
