Thread: CSR- Clueless regarding Freelancers in DS and Kessel
Anyway, I have some other information listed here.

I recently went to DS in my Krayt for the first time, and, being an Imperial on the ground, I had to declare as Imperial in DS. Ok, I cannot attack Imperials andRebels are agro, yay. However, when I entered Kessel, I found that it was as if I was declared Imperial- I couldn't attack Imps, and rebels were agro. For me this is terrible, because my main tactic in killing vettes involves taking out the critical gun 5 without having an agro first. So I reported it to CSR and waited.
The guy replies back: working as intended and that, if I wanted to switch it, I ought to see a rebel recruiter and change factions. I know that it isn't supposed to be that way- Freelancers are mercs who can switch sides as they see fit. So I strip down the Krayt, redeed, and viola- everythign is back to normal.
So my question is A: Do the Devs even know this is a problem, and B: What do these CSR do all day, I mean their job is a game they ought to know it well. Freelancer= mercenary, not hard to know.
Freelancers are supposedly "Mercs" but one thing your Sig dosent say is what type of freelancer are you??
Did you Train on Naboo/Tatooine?? If you did then you are factionally alligned Naboo is with Imperial Tatooine is with Rebel
Only Correllian corsecs are the true neutral of the universe.. They once done with the exit quest can chose to take either vette mission.

Not quite. RSF cannot attack imperials or other RSF. That is their only difference, they are not agro to Rebels. Hutts are are non-attackable only by other Hutts, and are not agro to either GCW faction.

The only place their neutrality is any moreso than the Hutts is during the master missions, and Smuggler's Alliance can just as readily attack the Rebel corvette and fighters as the Imperial ones, it just won't count to the missions if they kill them.
I absolutely dread the idea of being in a situation where I need a CSR. Either 1 out of 2 things happen.
* They tell me that they can't help me. They close the ticket.
or, but usually...
* I get no reply for 1-1/2 weeks, they can't find me online, they close the ticket.
Customer Service, eh?
And if you wonder what the CSR do all day? Handle tickets about issues well documented on the forums which they cannot fix anyway as their tools do not include the specific thing needed to handle lots of those tickets. If people would FIRST research on the forums about a problem and then raise a ticket if the forum does not have the information the amount of tickets going to the CSR probably could easily be cut to 1/4th of the current volume and those tickets then could be handled a lot better (less tickets in general leads to more time per ticket, which obviously helps the overall quality).

Rebel faction RSF can attack imperials if they go overt in space. Neutral faction RSF cannot attack Imperials.

CSRs are clueless in general.
I disagree. My experiences over the past couple of years with multiple tickets have been, in general, very good. There have even been threads in the Valcyn Galaxy board about what great experiences people have had with our primary CSR. That CSR in particular has solved problems for me and gotten me out of sticky situations that I put myself into, all while being extraordinarily understanding, polite, and helpful.
