Thread: cant get blacksun duty

ok someone mentioned earlier that you can get duty missions form other pilot trainers and a trainer in the theed palace gave out tier 4 blacksun missions, now i checked it out but none of them would talk to me, i am an imperial pilot in SS and need 3 mil to finsih out tier 4.

That's right, you've confused the duty mission concept a little, I'm afraid. Any Imperial pilot can get a duty mission from any other IMPERIAL trainer. Obviously, you can't take missions from rebel trainers, and just the same, you can't get them from privateers.
Don't worry though...Having a 1 in 100,000 shot of getting a singlehelmet pales in comparison to the faction you can get as either an Imperial or Rebel pilot...the black sun helmet is really the only thing the privateer class has going for them.

Rebels have a BS duty out of Lok.

its not even the helmet, its jsut i prefer to do blacksun killing becasue they generally give off better loot and i hate doing imp duty missions where i end up chasing a-wings for an hour

Would be nice if they'd throw a BS duty mission in there for the Imperial pilots somewhere...but that just shows the bad game balance. As if people don't go rebel so often just because they want to wear a pretty orange jumpsuit and try to be like their childhood hero, Luke Skywalker, NOW we'll have people going rebel because they want the damn helmet.
Oh well, /manUp...Imp for life...unless something goes horribly wrong.

well, i switched from reb and went freelance for a short time for the badges... but i refused to do RSF... damned bass tards want me to blow up a rebel ship? eff that bizatch!
i can live with only CorSec and Smugglers Alliance

A couple of CorSec missions are against Rebel targets, in case you didn't notice.
