This one just seems immensely more difficult than the others. Are there any tricks to it that I am missing?

You at least 44xx? You should be able to handle those solo in a decent ship. You might want to check out your shields, also make sure you are running RO4 WO3 C03 and E03, if you don't know what these are, thats probably why you're dying . Also don't forget Cap to Shield shunt IV, its a lifesaver. It might take a while to get all the right chips burned but it's worth it.

I think you are right about this.

I don't run all the overcharges, but will have to get some. I did an experiment last night, using a Rihxyrk chassis that I bought, and I did a lot better, just with the components that I had in my other ship (which was a Heavy Scyk).

Methinks I will add the WO to the list, plus add two more weapons (only got one right now) and I should do ok.

That Rihxyrk is wicked sluggish compared to the Scyk, but with Nym's engine it does alright.

The heavy-x is the exact same mission, guides and tips are a plenty for the heavy-x if you try to search again.
