Thread: Trouble with neutral pilot...

Now that I have one of my characters where I want him as a Rebel pilot, I thought I'd finally get my crafter some neutral pilot skills. He's been a 1,0,0,0 Corsec pilot for months. Almost since JTL came out. I went back to the trainer in Coro and took both duty missins. I did them both.

To go 1,1,0,0 I need to have 7,500 XP. I have more than 15,000 but the trainer says I'm not ready. I keep taking the duty missions but can't train a box.

Am I bugged? (Active ticket. No response by the way.)

Thanks.

The different trainers are not consistant with the way you skill up. For corsec some of the skill up options are found on the duty roster (this one threw me off balance too). It seems like 3 different developers worked on this track.

My problem seems to be the same kind:

First Cmd. Rhyk sent me to Cmd. Ramna on Lok. I talked to her and she needed some skilled pilots, so she let me choose a Skill to learn (at this point i had a 2-2-2-2 skill). I learned the special warships.

Now i have to do a mission (Dathomir: Capture the Weapons Shipment) and cannot complete the last part of this mission, because i can not stand the last wave of Tier 5.

My XP are enough to learn new skills, but Cmd. Ramna won´t let me

Why are there no "normal" trainers to learn new skills?

And why do i have to give up all my learned skills, if i change my mind about my duty-giver?

Then let all imp or reb presents and all XP´s blow up, when leaving the faction - this would only be fair...

Tier 3 is all missions, no XP required ... and XP is no use just now.

If you're doing the first Tier 3 mission and coming across Tier 5 ships, you're definately doing something wrong. The ships that are part of the missions are, at most, one tier above you, and even those are rare and (if I remember right) never a full wave of them. You might want to watch out when you are flying to waypoints. I know there are a few that have you fly dangerously close to ships that are much higher then you are. Some skilled piloting and a little bit of tactics will get you through the mission with very little problem.

In the end, if that doesn't work, just ask someone for help. A lot of master pilots are more then willing to help out, but don't do like 50% of the people asking me for help have done, and not respect that we too play the game for fun.
