I am a freelance smug. pilot.(I am Imp ground faction)I am 4444 right now. I was looking for info on the ace quests. As far as I can tell its 2 missions that I need to do. I know one is the Vett. But the other I am not sure about. I got sent to a rebguy to get a kill30 Imp ships in kessel. Can this be the right starter quest? And if it is, I am guessing that I will be taking out an Imp Vett at the end of it.

the "kill 30 ships in Kessel" is the first of the last missions, next one is indeed the "Kill the vette"..

And since you are Smugglers Alliance, you will be sendt up against the Imperial Vette.
Smugglers Alliance is the Privateer/rebel faction.

The RSF is the Privateer / Imperial (which would probably have been best considering you are Imp on ground)

But, do not surrender your pilot just yet if you want to be Imperial Alligned, if you master Pilot you will recieve double xp durring the next grind... so kill the vette and then surrender

if you want to surrender at all.. Smugglers Alliance have no problem killing Rebels..

Ok well at least I am on the right track. I was palning on droping it and going Imp pilot after I hit ace. I dont care for the freelance ships to much. The only one that I do like is at master and thats not enough to hold me. I do want my jacket and helmet though. Hmmm can we use these after we drop the pilot skills that it took to get them?

when u get to the "kill a vette in kessel mission", make 100% sure you have the mission in your datapad before you launch. turst me on this one
