Hi everyone!

I hope that this is the correct forum for this.

I cannot get my R4 droid to do anything when plugged into my Y-Wing. I have the second level of droid commands, but anytime I try to load the programs into the droid, I get a message saying that there is not enough space to hold the command. I did some reading and saw references to memory modules, so I had a guildie build me one. Still no success...the module is just a component, I guess?

Any help would be appreciated!

Check my sig, that might help.

What level flight computer is in the R4 droid you have (it does have a flight computer, right?)? Use the highest computer you're certed for - each computer holds more info than the one before it. So a level 1 flight computer barely holds level 1 programs, while a level 6 has room to spare for just about whatever you'll need.

Are you a pilot and not using Droid Commands?

check my stickied guide to droid commands - it explains it all for you

each astrodroid or FC can only hold so many commands at once, and different commands are different sizes. If its telling you there's not enough room on your droid, then either a) you're trying to use too many commands or commands that are too big, or b) you need to take off the old commands you have in there before upgrading to the higher level ones. When you open up the programming interface on your droid from the datapad, there will be a little orange indicator bar on the far right side that will show you how much data space you have taken up and left on your droid

also you can get programed chips from other factions and put into a droids datapad, so can have imp weapon boosts, rebel shield mods, freelance reactor overload
