Ideally, that's what Tiggs determines. Tomorrow is the 'one week' mark, so hopefully soon.

my idea is not rediculous whoever you are person... dont remember. but anyways. Think of it like this. Every server hase a different space experience completly. what might seem like a great idea in one server might be terrible in another. Like It might be cool in naritus to have guilds own capitol ships like star destyers or mon calimari vessels. But they wouldnt fly in bloodfin because evryone and their brother would have one. Also think of how biased it would be to have a single factioned representative. The ground already is in great favor of the rebel aliance, i dont want to see space become a one factioned war either for any side, even my own. There is no point to the game if you always win or alwyas lose. so think of that before you decide to call everyone elses ideas dumb, we are alll free to our own opinions, even ones as ignorant as yours.

Here's a quote from StarNick (the Commando Correspondent) that really struck a cord with me:
"Btw, once a wiseman told me...you represent your community. When they're pissed, you're pissed. When they want to rip the balls off of something, you lead the charge. Do not let your own thoughts get in the way."
To me, a correspondent puts out questions and organizes focused discussions for consideration and input from the Pilot community and then collects the results and keeps them organized. In the end, regardless of their personal opinion on such things, they need to remember that they are representing a larger group.
It's an important responsibility that will require serious dedication, maturity, and some thick skin; especially during this time of change to JTL.

Let's think of it like this instead. The Development team wants a simple method of getting information from each segment of the player base. They want one person to deal with who they feel they can rely on to give them an accurate picture of what most of the people who play Pilot in SWG want.Since finding one reliable correspondent is hard enough, finding 78 of them and keeping them all employed would be foolhardy. Not to mention a complete waste of Tiggs' time.No one cares whether what will work on Nauritus will work on Bloodfin too, we care about having someone to speak for all of us clearly and distinctly. 78 little princes(ses) endlessly cutting the Pilot community apart would be a little thing called Balkanization, look it up.
Trying to insuate that faction affiliation ingame would lead to bias in a correspondent is even sillier. I talk with 3-5 correspondents on a semi regular basis, and what side they are on never comes up. It's not an issue. I didn't even know what side Monsofo was on for the longest time. A correspondent isn't a kid trying to get cookies for him and his friends, its someone who cares for the profession as a whole. It's pretty obvious you have yet to get that simple point.
There's very good and sound reasons why the correspondent program is mainly limited to the professions and not to the different servers. There never has been nor will there ever be a different version of the game for each server. If I really need to go more into detail to prove that my opposition to your idea is not out of ignorance but because it really is stupid, I will. Just let me know.
PS you'll have a hard time convincing me the war is skewed to the Rebels since on the servers I play on, most of the planets are under Imperial control now. But, if it is so, that's ok because in case you forgot, the Rebels win in the end.
PPS I don't call everyone's ideas dumb, just the dumb ones.

Then ill just hove to respect your ideas then. after all they are just as credible as mine. But we do need to do something about SWG (and btw the imps may be victorious on bloodfin but they are starving on naritus big time) in general. just look at whats going on btwn all this. eveyone for that matter. its stopped bieng star wars. I dont knwo what to call it just whoever gets elected or selected or whatever. Make sure you look for star wars continuity, not for the sake of making your own group the best

I applied. I haven't spent a lot of time on the Pilot forums, but I love JtL and am very close to mastering pilot (I need to take out about 485 Tier 4 Black Sun ships to finish grinding! Yay me!). I'm organized as long as it's on the computer. I can meet all of the requirements, and I love being able to help out other people.
