any news on if pilots stuck in the loop after changing faction will get fixed for the faction specific ship quests some time SOON

This thread started on 06-30-05, it is now 08-21-05 and still No response, can we get some kind of feed back on this issue please?

Really, the only thing to say about it is the devs know about it. Don't know how far out a fix might be.

Thanks Tomo let's hope if we don't get any love in the new expansion at least they can fix our bugged missions

I am also in this situation:

I want the Royal Guard TIE Intercepter.

Started this when I was Imperial pilot/ground and became bugged (pirates are weak). While waiting, I switched and finished up all the other pilot badges and am now stuck in the station-to-eyma loop.

Hope this helps confirm.

Edit: If I may add, this seems similar to something in the ARC quest: When you talk to Drrrlim (sp*), if you do not choose the top answer every time, you get problems. Of course you can re-start the quest by talking to the Queen again, but if you choose the 2nd option once (asking for more info about his problem), then he says "ok lets go" but won't actually follow you.

It seems now that there are at least 2 points in RotW where it's best to just suck it up and pick the first/top option instead of actually enjoying your quest.

On the other hand, when going for the Jedi Starfighter, if you get the datapad from Dathomir and just choose the first option every time with the General(?), one of the options is "Are you drunk?" and that legitimately cancels the mission for you, so it's a double-edged sword. Do you pick the first option every time or follow the conversation?

Checked all the stations today again, and still i have that stupid heavy x-wing badge instead of the badge of the red tie......

Well, I still haven't been able to complete the RGI quest. And now SOE wants me to pay $30 for another brokeass expansion that doesn't even have a new space sector. /bird

First, I was an imperial pilot, and went ahead through the quests, I reported weak, so could not move on. Anyways, i go down to talk to Eyma, and he/she tells me to go back and talk to station, which tells me to go see Eyma again. Which is where im stuck, ive done all 3 rebel pilot squadrons, and have gone back imperial, but am upset i was unable to obtain the rebel x-wing badge. Since i never completed it in the first place, it seems that I am now unable to complete any factions quest for this, and cannot receive the 3 badges, nor any of the ships themselves.

I've been stuck at this point for what seems like months now. It's getting rediculous now.....
