My heavy x-wing is by far my favorite (I have a pilot in all 3 factions).
I have 3 level 8 guns whit max damage 3.800 each
my capacitator is only 1200 power, but 52.4 recharge.
My engine isn't great, max speed 95 and p/y/r all a bow 73.
My shield is 2500, don't remember the recharge (think it was 16 some thing)

whit weapon overcharge 3 I kill imp tier 5 ships in 2-3 hits (that is fast compared to what I'm used to!)
whit engine overcharge 3 I get almost 1200 speed, don't have a booster though. No room

Don't argue with idiots, they just drag you down to their lvl and beat you with experience!!

I would say most convenient to fly, my JSF, if I wanted to go for fun, I would say a Adv X-wing, if I hadn't bugged my quests and could actually get one :/

That thing is still a dream to fly. I used it until we had a big space PvP event (Kettemoor's Kashyykian Blockade). After the battle I felt like crap having witnessed firsthand what it can do in the hands of a capable pilot, let alone an average one. I deeded it and stashed it somehwre. I couldn't even tell you where the deed is at right now, nor do I care. If they fixed the hit box on the RGT, I would fly it in PvP. It's a beautiful ship. I have gone back to my TIE/A though. It can beat JSFs, and anything else out there, with the exception af Janu's Image Rec II's. Right before our last big PvP battle my Lady RE'd my bolt driver and IPW, and I was able to squeeze them into it. Made a heck of a difference in offensive output, but I miss the two level 7 crafted units I had in it. They were green bolts with identical firing speeds.

Yeah, its not as if I can hit it with anything else when I'm in traffic. You were a popular target in the Corellian action, whenever I tried shooting you with the Advanced X-Wing, I'd get the friendly buzzer because I was smacking a CFA pilot in the ass competing for the kill.

With the Nova, Palimor was struggling a bit topside and Kiyrstine was making herself a nuisance to anyone trying to get under me, so all I had, that could guarantee the hit, were the missiles.

Would definitely like to go one on one sometime. I'm working on a standard X-Wing, at the moment. I hate seeing my QID go to waste.

Heh, Yeah... That first engagement when I saw the majority of ships in the oncoming Rebel fleet pitch towards me, I knew it was going to be quick. Still, back to the thought of going one on one I would love to do so.

And damn you and your QID. I have the other engines set up to RE a good QID, with pre-RE 21k mass, 1300 energy, and low 70's turning. That QID you have would be a perfect speed number for it... I have one more alt that I can take a stab at getting a good one with. Then I'll have to lower myself to desperate measures.

Meh, the QID came out rather lame, IMHO. The Advanced X-Wing runs on an 82.3/82.8/80,100.9 speed L10.

Much nicer.Hangs with the light stuff very handily.

Hmmm... 42k. That would leave me with 23k mass in the Advanced.

I like my JSF, what can I say, its in my opinion, the best ship in the game. But, I'll never forget my first time in a Tie INT, that thing felt like a sports car compared to the rebel craft I had flown previously. But, I'm a rebel pilot, and for role play purposes, I'm an A-wing pilot.
