In my opinion, if we were to keep in scale with the orginal balance, i dont think any ship should exceed the handling of a T/I or T/A. If so, only marginally. like, instead of 5.4 Yaw, perhaps 5.6 or something like that.

Likewise any ship having that kind of manuverablty, should not exceed 65Kish mass. Or arguably 70K mass to make it a little more special, but no more than that.

They ALL don't need a balance pass. Just the new ships that break the balance paradigm thats been in game and working fairly well. Theres no need to rewrite the whole game just to accomidate a couple new ships.

I'm honestly more pissed off that my A-Wing has been made obsolete by a Z-95 more than anything else. ALL the RotW fighters need to have a balance pass. Light fighters are supposed to be just that, lightly armored/armed things that are very manueverable that use that to their advantage. If you're going to make a heavy variant of a light fighter, then it should handle like a medium/heavy fighter. I really don't see how this is hard to comprehend.

ALL of them need a balance pass.

I concur with the obsolescence thing. I've spent a LOT on ever-increasing mass-experimented chassis, and now all that money's down the sh*tter because of quest rewards and the Heavies designed to give newbies an easier grind whilst we had to do it the hard way.

The new generation of Imperial Pilots from the mass wave of newbies (who'll evidently flock to this game with *no* advertising) won't be tempered with having to make due with 20, 40, 55, and 65k ships like WE had to. They'll be handed a 95k one at Tier 1 with the stats of the JSF and 5-7k more mass, depending on experimentation.

The JSF was supposed to be available for both sides. I've seen posts that the Rebel quest starts at the Spiderclan cave but it's bugged in some way.

I'd say give Rebels the chance to get it just to shut both the "IF I CAN'T HAVE IT NERF NERF NERF" and "UNFAIR" posters up.

...but then I know the fully-neutral people would start yelling.

Key word being "supposed" in other words, when people saw the cert in all three trees, they made an assumption, and they assumed wrong. It's been explained by Devs that the certs are in 3 trees so no one need worry about losing a ship they worked to get, if they decide later to change sides. Unfortunately people still feel robbed because they assumed the reverse, that all 3 trees would have a way to earn all three ships.

These posts you've seen about the Spiderclan cave come from people who got the JSF corpse mixed up with the corpse for the Nym starmap quest. No reliable information about a bugged rebel quest have I ever seen.
