Thread: The Ship [email protected] now with 'WO3 as intended' capability

Never mind. I found a bug that was preventing weapon overload programming level to update properly, it's fixed now. Went ahead and set all ships to WO3 on general principle.

Fixed. Turns out it's kinda hard to calculate cap drain and recharge times when you don't have any weapons configured

Kayl said, in another thread:

Raja, you might do people a favor if you program it to essentially show WO3 as being fixed. People KNOW what works now - maybe it'll be a more educational tool if people saw what was possible on their frame.

Yeah. My thought for this is to put another entry into the list of selectable overloads for weapon, which will read "WO3 - Fixed" and display appropriately on the ship profile so people will know what conditions the pilot has specified. Probably be able to get this in tonight.

This site is awesome Raja. In fact; on Starsider last night a few of us had a half hour conversation concerning its coolness . Its a real community 'bring togetherer' if that makes any sense. Good work.

Thank you. It means a lot to hear positive feedback from the userbase.

You hit the nail on the head with the word community. That's been my overarching goal all along. That's why all the discussion about the app remains on these forums, for instance - it'd be MUCH better for my hitcount to implement spaceLoot native discussion forums, but not as good for the community building aspect.

Along these lines, sometime in the next month or so you guys are going to start hearing me go on at tremendous length about something called Convergence.

I'm totally psyched to see all these ships going up! You guys are awesome. I hadn't expected anywhere near this level of response.

Well, I've kept myself from posting every ship layout here. Now that I'm allowed somewhere I did

Added my B-wing and Regular X-wing, way to few pre-rotw ships in the list so far.

Also noticed I need to improve the firepower on my B-wing. 1 3-gun Krayt and a heavy-x do the same amount of dmg

edit: Just noticed my regular X-Wing outdamages several of the advanced. FUN!

edit 2: Since when are countermeasures (chaff launchers) affected by EO3?

Chaff launchers were always classified as weaponry - hence they and missile launchers count towards the *potential* drain penalty and EPS increase from a potential WO3 fix.

Hope I didn't screw up again

Submitted a Kessel loot log...and chose Kessel Imperial, assuming that meant as an Imperial killing rebel spawn...if that assumption was right, great

If it was supposed to be killing Imperials...umm...could you move it Raja?

Moved easy mistake to make, I should clarify that.
