This is crap, I am a 4333 pilot and never knew about this I have sold ALL of my tier 1 and 2 stuff as well as my first tier 3 one to the chasis dealer thinking it was no more than loot. At least I still have most of my tier 3 and I still have my tier 4 stuff to go. Can anyone point to me a reason I should redo pilot to get these back? I don't see much point if I can use better stuff now anyway.
Finish your pilot, drop your skills, and start a different pilot group. They all have their own unique storylines and plus you get x2 pilot xp for mastering a pilot profession in the first place. I started out doing CorSec, then did Smuggler's Alliance, and now am almost through RSF (the worst of the three IMHO). Not only was it fun, but it got me out more than I otherwise would have.

I'm unclear on when these medals were put in game. I made Ace RSF within 4 weeks of JTL's release. I got the helmet and stupid looking jacket but there was no medal given out.
Is a ticket request a waste of time? Would I have to drop rsf and re-do the whole thing? Is it even a cool looking medal? Will the dynamic duo escape in time? Tune in next time, same forums time, same forum channel

Medals were added at the launch of RotW, try going back to the mission giver if you haven't yet.

Thanks very much for compiling this list Washell. I know exactly what I need to go out and buy from other people now, having mastered pilot three times...
Some days I really hate the Chassis Dealer.

Curious about this - any luck? Are you still waiting to hear back from that ticket?

I went back to the RSF trainers as well as the Imp that gives the ace missions. None of them offered a dialog tree to get the medal. I'll submit a ticket to see what's up with this.

We learned that male toons did get medals and females don't. Not by that ticket, but someone had a hunch which quickly got confirmed by people posting.

I don't know if this was posted before, but I achieved Acetwo nights ago and never recieved the jacket or medal... mycharacter is female human. I recieved the helmet from the Grand Admiral. I ran the Storm Squadron (started in Tat)... i don't recalled getting any of the ship parts as a reward (both times i did the Tat Imp Version of Pilot).. both female toons. Guess i'll put together a ticket in tonight.

I'm a 4443 Imperial pilot, almost 4444, so I haven't done my master mission yet. But based on this, do I get the jacket the first time I master this profession? Then do I have to completely surrender it and master it again to get the helmet? Or are there two different missions you do in the master box, that give you the different rewards?

2 different missions. So you get the helmet + jacket + medal when you ace one pilot prof, you don't have to regrind it to get the other reward...

You get the jacket after the first Master mission (kill 30 enemy), and the helmet, medal and badge after the corvette mission.

I just got my 4th box in tier 4, but didn't receive the engine. Do I need to do the next mission to get the engine then???
