Yeah, it's weird though. I mean, I cannot see the Devs intentionally making one area better then another in terms of drops (though Deep Space should be better then any other sector), or that one area should drop more of one type of component then another, because all that means is extra time to put in more coding for a seemingly meaningless reason, so this might all just be chance.
Or, of course, there's always the chance it's just a discrepency caused by the code that not even the Devs know about. Not too long ago I read about in CoH how the player base kept saying there was something wrong with a certain ability or class or something to that effect, and the Devs disagreed and even showed numbers from their internal test server to prove it. Then the playerbase showed them that there was a discrepency in the code on their internal test server that was causing their numbers to be screwed up ![]()

when JTL was first released i remember reading that DS was a pvp enabled zone and that the more pvp kills the rebs get in DS the more loot heavy imperial ships will be pushed into kessel and the more pvp kills by imps the more loot heavy rebel ships will be pushed into kessel...so it would seem to me that the loot being better in kessel is intended if what i read still holds true...am i wrong?
also i will edit this to include my drop rate findings after i get home this evening

found out there's not that many people who constantly grind in deep space and report back =)...I'm afraid myself I've been runnin missions on the main toon...and havn't spent a ton of time on the crafter/"good" pilot =/
