Read up on the UCITA bill, going around the various state legislatures. Basically, it makes EULA's legally enforcable contracts.





A funny thing actually, due to the fact that cybercrime (primarily child pornography) is seen as a GREAT THREAT tm, anything relating to comps and the internet is generally prosecuted in the country the computer that recieves/downloads/stores the info resides in. I know here in the UK that the EULA is worth less than the paper it is written on as our consumer rights laws are very stringent and they superced the EULA (it is akin to a person signing a contract saying they want to die not being as high a law as the murder charge brought against the person that killed him, essentially a coinsumers rights are protected despite what limiting agreements they enter into with the company that provides them said services). This is the same in most western countries.
