you know your flying to much when....
a major airline refuses your application because your past experience includes joystick barrel rolls...and spamming shield shunt.

Someone mentioned autopilot to waypoint...how about trying to leave the starport with the joystick?
LAST STARFIGHTER! Best cheezy-SFX movie I've seen...besides dune, but that's a different category.

twitch based ground combat would be interesting, but only if rifles were extended out to about 300m..... i was pretty good with the Bolt Driver in planetside, a T21 wouldnt be much different.
