hey, both /boosterOn and /boosterOff DO work - so i've macro'd them and put them in F8 and F9 to toggle on and off - not idea, but it works till SOE give us a fix

Sorta resolved? I have my booster mapped to custom button joystick 6 and nothing works, not even B. CSR Tickets will do nothing, you need to /bug this so a Dev will see it, CSR tickets get deleted, /bug reports dont.
i didn't say we should forget about it, Mr Sourpuss- if you look at the post above it says "not ideal, but it works till SOE give us a fix" - i've bugged this on three accounts, on all three ships, repeatedly - they must have 50+ tickets from me.
sony need to fix it but in the meantime, anyone else having this problem now has a potential workaround - sorry it's not working for you, tho

Here is a list of ship commands on this forum:

Hope this isn't a repost.

I too have had all the exact same booster issues. No boosters period - tried different ships with all different components. Original ship was an Xwing - that just up and stopped boosting - I had been flying that configuration for weeks. Nothing changed.
Tried remapping booster key and reset keymap to defaults. IT even occurs in my Veterans Yacht - which I can't configure - so its got to be a bug. Tried ships with nothing but reactor boosters and shields - so its not a power issue.
Contacted CSR - they gave me nothing to try and closed the ticket (typical).

k, here's the trick - first make sure /boosterOn works for you - if not, you're humped
if it does, you create a macro called booster that just has the command /boosterOn;
then, you go CTRL O > CONTROLS > KEYMAP > CUSTOM > booster (or whatever you call your macro) and map it to the key you want- then everytime you hit that joystick button it's the same as typing /boosterOn
now, if you don't have a joystick, even simpler, you put /boosterOn in F8 and /boosterOff in F9 and shazam, you can toggle your boosters one and off very effectively.

There are actually three commands associated with boosters - /boosteron, /boosteroff, and /boostertoggle. I suspect that /boostertoggle will allow you to turn them on/off with only a single button. I haven't tried this yet but I'm going to.
BTW - I'm having the same problem as the rest of you. I felt much better after seeing that everyone else had tried all the same things that I had. Too bad there's still not a real solution yet, just a work around for now. But at least I'll be back flying again. I use my boosters all the time when I'm fighting those fast TIE's. It's the only way I can stay on their tails.

Well I've got it fixed for now. I assigned the command "/boostertoggle" to the number 04 switch on my Wingman and it works just the same as it used to. I honestly cannot tell the difference. This seems to be a good permanentwork-around solution. Maybe one day they will get it fixed for good.

Ok It just started happening to me as well 5 days ago (have not played in 3) Some thing all my ships booster suddenly not working, my A-wing, X-wing and the yacht. Nothing new and no component changes made, just stopped working. I can't remap the booster everything else is able to be changed.. (tried using defaults and nothing, tried full scan and nothing, tried reinstalling JTL and nothing, tried reinstalling SWG and nothing) No idea what it is.

And have you tried the /boosteron and /boostertoggle commands? if so, you can make a macro for them that you can remap to the joystick button of choice

Even better I have a solution that fixed my problem.Hard-boot the machine. Suddenly booster working again. I got the idea from another place in the forums about boosters not working. I Did it and when I logged back into JTL, Boosters are go on all ships. (Don't know why or what it does!) Just greatfull it works again. All I can say is try it.
