Actually, it seems like an honest mistake (one I haven't made). Everything else in the game is XP based, why would he think Pilot would be otherwise? After doing my first tier 3 mission, I ground out the rest of the 200 xp that the Skill Box says you need before going back to my trainer. I noticed that being trained didn't subtract my xp, so I caught on thatxp didn't matter for tier 3 --but there's nothing that indicates that. Tier 4 is back to xp requirements. Ok. Master isn't. Great! But don't all the trainers say "Report immediately!" like it really matters?

My condolences to the original poster, but there's no reason to laugh at him.

These boards aren't (or shouldnt') be an absolute necessity to play the game...

i helped many pple get there master pilot being cannon fodder and in return when i need to get it done U guys are to bizzy or since u already have done it would be to much touble to do it again. that why i grounded out the xp hopeing that it was another way to get master ,

i dont read the boards much really dont try to take short cuts or use xsploits and bragg on how uber u are, for work that u didnt even sweat to do, think this i my second post maybe i ever made sec the sec week of swg lauch , so i dont know much.

If I go outside and talk to myself, does that count? If not, what purpose does going out and meeting other girls really serve? I mean, I've already got a girlfriend. Having one girlfriend is bad enough where I live (Gotta love the Bible Belt... /rolleyes), do I really need to add polygamy to my list of sins?
