Thread: BlackSun Vaksai Deed
I too had this problem.. rebel on ground, SA privateer ace.. ended up with heavy X-Wing deed which I was unable to generate into ship (due to lacking the rebel cert's).

Hmm, I'm bugged on the Rebel version of this with one toon but I just finished the quest as a Ground Rebel/Neutral Master Pilot. Problem is I expected to get the Vaksai deed, but instead I got a Heavy Xwing deed - anyone know if this is a bug !? thanks,
Ground Imp / Neutral Pilot here. Expected the Vaksai, but got the Crimson TIE. Looks like a bug to me. Especially since we both worked hard to get through the missions and got stuck with a ship we can't get certified for.
That's a rather nasty bug. So when you guys got the Heavy X-Wing and Imperial Guard Interceptor rather than the Vaksai, were you unable to deed or fly them?
I've passed this along in any event, but that info would help out.

Only problem? Doesn't it only have ONE freaking gun?
Why would anyone want one of these things with one gun over, for example, a Krayt?
I started this mission and when I found out it had one gun I gave the whole thing up as pointless.
Level 10 gun+ weapon overload 3 = things go boom fast. The one gun hasn't been a problem for me so far with that combo. I went after things in Kessel (including gunboats)and had no problem, even solo'd the new vette capture/escort, no problem. One overloaded level 10 gun will rip through most anything with easy as long as you're a decent shot. The only problem I have is that it's larger than a dang X-wing. Leads to me being hit a bit more than I should. Luckily with 150k mass, I could put nice shields and a sweet engine in it with ease as well.

Can we nail this thing down any further? For those of you who've gotten the Vaksai in, say, the last two days, have you been able to deed it? If you have or haven't, what's your ground faction? And if you haven't been able to deed it, what're your pilot skills at? Are there any other issues or conditions that may be at all pertinent to the problem?
Drakoon,
I'm not saying you can't make it work for you. I'm just asking WHY is it a good ship? It's a huge target and I can STILL fit more firepower in my Krayt and that firepower is spreadout over 3 weapons for redundancy.
So why would you want to fly one?
