Ok, did tests involving e thrust as freelance and here are my results:
Using 22k Energy Gen Reactor
Initiated cmds RO4 and EO4 then hit e thrust. Resulted in loss of almost 150 spd.
Initiated cmds RO4 and EO3 then hit e thrust. No change.
Initiated cmds RO4 then hit e thrust. Gained just over 350 spd. Then initiated EO3. No change.
Initiated cmds RO4 then e thrust. Same 350 spd gain. Then initiated EO4. Gained almost 150 spd.
Commands all reset once e thrust timer ran out, regardless of whether or not droid cmd or e thrust were activated first.
Using 33k reactor (dont ask me, I had to borrow this one :/ although I did reengineer a reactor that hit 57k generation
)
Conducted same tests with same results.
Conclusion: E thrust adds the equivalent speed as EO3. I am guessing with the same power drain as well. However, these qualities do not stack (da** it!!).
Ah well, back to the crafting board.

Fastest is almost always gonna be one of the ships with 1.0, or 100%, engine usage.
Three or four of the Imp fighters do, plus the Kirhaxz?/Vaksai for Freelance and the Awing, I believe, for the Rebs.
Some of those fighters can indeed be crafted and can hold the engine and the needed power to obtain a RO4/EO4 cmd base. Although, the only ships I have seen that can carry a practical loadout with said engines are the Vaksai.
But I've been proven wrong before ![]()
So far the fastest ship I have seen, with picture, is of 2174.

The propulsion stuff I mentioned
A23k reactor with 17k mass
42.4 recharge capa bit above 1300energy with 2.9K mass
Sub 500 mass/energy 14.6 spd droid interface
16.3 recharge RE'd reward shields with 28k mass
Level 8 RE'd reward gun with .37 refire at just over 27k mass
One Image Rec II missile launcher at 5400 mass
And obligatory "just in case" (yah, right
) front/back armor.
All running level four of all the OL's and CSS
I think thats everything.
But I do throw a crafted laser in there sometimes just for the .25/.26 refire rate. Just fun!

Please let me know what you find. I don't often use Pump because when I need it the most is when I can least afford to scram the reactor.

I did testing on the emergency thrust, but had conversations with imperial friends and they say they have had similar experiences with the loss/no change factor.
Did the testing and was disappointed
It seems it truly is emergency use only, maybe when droid is disabled and such.
with a looted and reverse engineered engine 123 spd and a crafted booster 49.7 spd
EO4 and these parts pushed my Vaksai to 2222
with some of the boosters Ive seen crafted on other servers Id get this machine even faster..
