Thread: A FReelance ace ship petition
There's a few prequel craft I'd like to see. The N-1 would be a nice addition, I actually think, if it was given X-wing or Dunelizard-like stats. As I recall, it was supposed to perform on par with a modern X-wing, but it was hideously expensive to produce, as opposed to the X-wing's standardized, relatively cheap production.
As long as we have the Actis, I'd like to see the Aethersprite. I always liked the Aethersprite's appearance better. Much more sleek. You could quest for it from either the Jedi or dark Jedi NPC at the Jedi Temple ruins on Dantooine.
How about the T-wing or Cloakshape or other classic snubs? There's quite a few more ships we could have.

We also do us a unique prequel starfighter, the B-22 belongs to us. Freelancers got the best ships in game.

The N1 ought to be just like the heavy scyk. If the universe still made sense when it came to mass, I would say 65k mass. Doesn't really make sense to try comparing a light patrol craft to an Xwing, but you can if you really want to. They were rare just because the Royal Engineering division was really small and each one was essentially handcrafted around stock parts. Think of them like the hand made airplanes that a small shop like(can you believe the filter won't allow his shortened first name?) RichardRutan puts out. Hehe, I'd love to keep them ultra rare, and I would be a total hardcase on the paint job, just to hear all the screams from players "What do you mean it only comes in Yellow!!"
If it were to be added, I would only like to see it as the end of a quest for RSF Aces. This is a total dream, but if they came up with 1 ship for each squad of Freelance, instead of ever allowing them into the faction grind of DS, it would be a worthy perk. It would make Freelance a place people want to "end up" They could come up with 3 ships for Freelance, and one each for Imperial/Aliiance.
As for the other two Freelance ships, I'm sure there's something suitably Corellian mentioned in a book somewhere? And I wish I could find some of the threads from back before we got the Krayt. A lot of people asked for a particular Black Sun fighter, and it sounded neat, but I don't remember the name.

Fire up the Engine Overload and it will spin on a dime. I miss flying the krayt.
